July 11, we loaded the car and headed out of the heat to visit Cristal and Jordan in Utah, they were going to go through the temple and be sealed as a family Friday and Saturday. On Sunday Elsie was getting blessed by her dad Jordan.
We had a little extra time on Thursday so we made a few stops along the way, first at the Navajo Bridge to take a few pictures and stretch our legs.

After a stretch and a drink we headed on toward Jacob Lake. Up into the pines and cool weather. A quick stop there for a sandwich and bathroom break, along with a visit with the ranger then back on the road.

From here we headed North to Provo to Cristal and Jordan's house, where dinner was ready and waiting.
Friday morning Ginger gave Elsie a bath and snapped a few photos as well
Friday we had lunch at Tocanos Brazilian Grill, if you get to Provo around lunch time, you have to go!
Saturday Morning Cristal and Jordan left early for Manti for pictures, and get ready for their sealing.
Dawn talked us into heading over to Kneaders for some french toast. Oh yeah it was good. And there is one in Gilbert.

After breakfast we went to Manti and met up with everyone else and had a great time inside this amazing building

Sunday we attended church with Cristal and Jordan Smith, where Elsie was blessed, then had lunch with the Smiths, before heading home. We took a different route near Cedar City on hi way 14 through Cedar Canyon, didn't realize how pretty it was and how high the road would go, nearly 10,000 feet.
