What Is This?

The bottom side
Side View

And finally, A view from the top

Now what do you think this is and what is it used for?

A couple of hints:

It does not go in the vavle body of a transmission, good guess though, Dusty

It does not have any moving parts and only resembles a piston.

It is not something you use every day.

It is something that was used a lot about 20 years ago.

It is custom made by me, because I could not find the one that came with the equipment it goes to.

It is readilly available on the internet, Best Buy, Walmart, and Radio Shack did not have one.

The bottom diameter in 1.48 inches (just a smigeon under 1 and a half inches). and the center hole is 9/32.

OK here is a hint

It kinda looks like a button press. But, I'm a seamstress. I have to think that way.

It looks a lot like the meat tenderizer I bought from Pampered Chef.
