Trip to New Harmony (Rick and Jen's wedding)
On Thursday, November 20th, Michael received a phone call from his friend Rick. By midnight we had plane tickets to New Harmony, Indiana. This is where he and his fiance Jennifer wanted to get married. Her parents live close by and she wanted her father to walk her down the aisle. It was a beautiful place. The ceremony was wonderful and intimate. just family and a few friends. We left home at 4:15 am Saturday morning, traded planes in Chicago, went to the wedding about 5:30pm, had a late dinner(good food), retired, got up about 7am to wander the town (a lot like Jefferson, Texas), had brunch at 11:15, back on the plane, traded planes in Dallas, home by 9:00pm Sunday. You can tell I'm a little taken by fall. I had to take some pictures of trees. To be honest there was this urge that I had walking back to the hotel room to jump into a pile of leaves by the side of the room in my dress and high heals. Oh, and yes this is ice Michael is holding, it was about a 1/4 of an inch thick, wonderful for shattering on the pond. It was a little chilly. We also walked a labyrinth. I started first, and then Michael started, it was interesting that we passed each other often but only traveled in the same direction once and only for a little while. All said and done, we had fun and were grateful to be included in their celebration. We wish them all the happiness their hearts can hold and then some.

oh, i LOVE fall leaves! at preschool, we collected enough to make a pile so the kids could jump in them -- indoors!
beautiful pictures. sounds like a whirlwind trip.
It was quick! the two days are just a blur and I don't know where we got the time to take so many pictures. It was really neat, and just a little cold 20-30 deegrees.
