Gardening

This is the remains of our winter garden.  We've had cilantro, bell peppers, lettuce, peas, and regular peppers.  Everything is going to seed and I've learned a few more lessons.
Our garden is supported by the old trampoline and some 8' poles to give it height.  I had tied string to help the peas to grow up but the sun and the wind kept bringing them down.  I've purchased some lattice and am installing it every other section to give things that I want to grow up more support.  Last night we had some gusty winds the lattice moved more than I had expected so today I am going to secure it on the sides also.  It yanked up some of my grape starts that I'm experimenting with.
Pulling the weeds that seem to grow from the water overflow and trimming up the peppers so they will continue to grow is giving everything a much cleaner look.  The goal is to have everything self watering, so in the heat I can go out in the evening and do just a small amount of maintenance.
These are my helpers, Devin with the peas and Andy K with the flowers.  They are great help and both seem to be happy to be outside.

I hear you let that baby roll around in the dirt!

She does the breast stroke. It's so cute. Every body should be allowed to play in the dirt sometimes, just not before church.
