your late 1880's bath tub is being suported by a floor jack?
Saturday, I was washing my hair when the tub fell out from under me.
Thank goodness it hasn't been resurfaced or I would have fallen.
Over time the screws securing the feet to the tub had worked loose.
First there was the crash
and then scream of being surprised that something I thought was stationary had moved.
Michael came down the hall to check that I was alright.
I was and surpringly so was the tile that the tub fell on.
It did bend the pipe to the shower head a little.
We've made a trip to Lowes for new screws but have yet to have the time to install them.
Everyone is sharing the middle shower this morning.
We are blessed to have two.
Thank you, thank you.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I saw that picture! Good thing you didn't fall, you could of broken a hip or something! Love you mama!
My first thought was that it probably broke the tile! Nice work. Good thing you do have two showers, I remember just the one. People can't believe I grew up in a house with so many people and only one shower. More impressive is that I really don't remember it being an issue!

As time goes on I seem to become more and more spoiled. I had started taking for granted that we had two. It was just a gentle reminder to be grateful. Michael installed a couple of dollars of new screws and I used it last night. Works great.
