About a year ago we purchased a Purple Suzuki Sidekick than got the nick name "The Grape". This car has been a lot of fun and will go almost anywhere, Mount Graham, Black Canyon Lake, Box Canyon, etc. It has been a blast to drive, on Tuesday June 8 Ginger was heading to Tempe on the freeway, traffic had slowed to a stop and Ginger was down to about 10 mph when she was hit from behind by an avalanche, (the truck not the mountain of snow) she was thrown forward into an Alero and tore the bumper cover off of it and ended up sitting sideways on the #3 lane.
The Chevy had the front end pushed in and bent the frame slightly, the Suzuki....... well it was short to begin with now it is about 8 inches shorter, the driver seat is busted the rear floor bent and both rear fenders are shoved forward, and the passenger door shoved into the front fender.
Ginger is sore, and has a welt from the seat belt. The estimate for the Avalanche is about $10,000, still waiting to see what the insurance co. says on the Sidekick, I am sure that it will be totaled, the drive shaft is in such an angle that it wont even turn.
Squashed up in the back
Ouch!
The Good side.
The Bad Side.

Ha Ha, you have a grape and I have a lemon!
So glad she wasn't seriously hurt. Hope she didn't "juice" herself! LOL
I'm so glad my mother didn't get squeezed! Sorry about your car dad.
