Mike Gillespie Plus Ginger Mullins
Mike and Ginger for 31 years!

Ginger and I took a drive to Safford, Sunday afternoon, did a little geocaching and had a little dinner, (Chalos) yes, Andrew this is the same place that you and Jeremy and I had dinner when we went to the hot tubs and sand dunes south of Safford. Anyway we took a drive north of Safford up a long hill the the 'back in the saddle again' geocache. This is the view from the saddle looking back towards Safford.

Monday morning we headed to Gillespie wash, and we found it and the 'cache' there, along with a couple of windmills. Across the road we found a little 4 wheelin action, in a sand wash and in and around the trees, some where South of here is a place named Gillespie, we think it is a ranch from looking at google earth.

Then we were on our way to Mt. Graham, 36 miles to Riggs Lake, nearly the end of hiway 366, loaded with switch backs, and twists and turns. Several geocaches later we were at the lady bug cache. Short hike about 500 ft elevation gain and about a mile in lenth, there is a bench mark at the top near the cache. On out way down it started to rain, we took shelter under a tree for a while and when it slowed down a bit we made a dash to the Sidekick.

We then continued our journey to the top, the road got muddy but we felt confident in the ability of the Sidekick, and never lost traction, we even explored a couple of slippery side trails and never even tried to get stuck. We had a blast. After several creeks and water crossings we made it to Riggs lake, pprox 9000 ft elevation! I wonder how they keep the water up here? By the way be on the lookout for bears playing with children.

On out way back cdown the mountain we did a little berry picking, there are wild berries growing alond side the road, if you look close you can spot some, and maybe even find a good looking berry lady.

Happy 31st Anniversary
You are still my favorite wife.
I love you

Every year we seem to find some cool place to go and explore. This year I realized that I could possibly be an annoying 4 year old. I didn't realize how many questions I ask. How high up are we? Why is it so rocky here but not over there? Why do these plants grow on this side of the river but not on the other side? How much water do you think it takes to water cotton? Why are there only cotton fields and no food fields? ect, ect, ... Thank you for being my husband through all the whys, bumps and children. I love you too!!!

Thank you for staying married & showing us kids what kind of man we need to find, and what type of wife we should aspire to be!
i love you mom & dad
Sounds like a great time! Happy Anniversary, folks.
I like the signs -- bear activity, children at play, no shooting. Hmm. So is that no shooting bears? Or no shooting children?
Cassie and I saw a bear tonight! She didn't like it.
