Today I had the opportunity to spend the morning watching our grandchildren play in their soccer games. I have not played soccer since some PE class in Jr High, so it is all a little vague. At 8:00 am I learned that if you're 3 or 4 and running the wrong way, the coach will come up and take your hand and run with you. Also that you don't need to keep score, and there are no goalies. At 9:00 I learned that the fields get larger and the number of players
varies as long as both teams have the same amount of players on the field. Also that the coaches are a little more aggressive. At 10:00 I learned if you are cute, have matching bows in your hair and look very feminine, that you should not be polite while playing. Run over your opponent, steal the ball, and put on your game face. At 10:40 I learned that even if you are throwing up and limping you can still approach the coach and ask to be goalie. That if you run very, very fast your legs look like they are going every which direction. At 12:15 I learned the playing fields can get bigger still. That girls can run as fast as boys, but not as fast as short people who are very very fast. That coaches can yell louder that I can. Lessons taught by Sienna, Summer, Gracie, Ashlyn, Gunner, Mason and Shawn. (Sorry I could not get the camera to work, so you'll just have to look on the linked blogs to see all their cuteness.)
