4th of July Family Campout

Camping, I love it. Especially with a real bed and bathroom.
This is only a third of camp.
Not seen, Rachael's and Dawn's trailers,
Grandma Millward's tent, and the girls tent.
The boy's tents are the one's next to the trailer.
The real bed is just for Mike and I.

Someone tossed a rock at Devin when he had the helmet on earlier in the day.
We found him trying it out later by throwing rocks at himself.

Cristal's mobile salon and hair cut and nail service.
All the little girls had the same braid from Cristal.
Emilee Elexa, and Sienna all wrapped up in the hammock.
Rigdon was helping them to swing.

It wouldn't be the 4th of July without red, white and blue finger nails.
The boys were not really all that interested in participating.
Dawn getting everybody strapped in for a ride in the Ranger.
Rigdon has his own place, front and center.
Kylie waiting her turn on one of the quads, good thing they don't use a lot of gas, they ran all weekend long.
Gracie and Summer checking out the controls on the Yerf Dog.
There were wooden blocks on the pedals so their legs would reach.
Rachael and Cristal did all the girls nails.
One of the many mobile services she preformed while she was there.
Volleyball is easy when the net isn't 8 feet high
Thursday night game time.
How much do you know about each other?
Playing Apples to Apples helps you find out.
While the girls played volleyball the boys played another game.
you toss the colored balls at the colored bars and have them wrap around them.
Kayla just couldn't resist and wanted to play too.
There was a question as to what kind of animal got into the trash.
Looks like Coco and Kayla.
Andy showing Ben and Paul the finer points of fishing at Woods Canyon Lake
If there is sun there are girls looking pretty.
Not as nice as the beach in Hawaii, but a smooth rock will do the trick.
It was a great weekend.
The trailer is covered in dust so my next few days will be to wipe down all the fun we had out of it.
Thank goodness for pictures.
I just love my family.

Happy Birthday Mikie!!!...

Well his 50th B-day came and went.
No matter what you may think
most days he's still twelve.
It wasn't Black 50, it was
Hawaii five-oh.
So that set the theme.
If you don't know Hawaii is one of his favorite
places on this planet.
Because of his true age Katherine and I decided that he should have all 50 candles.
It took four fire bugs to light them all.
(Yes there is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink)

He did get them all out in one breath.
I hope all his wishes and dreams come true.
We invited a few guests, not quite 50.
I'm not sure we could have gotten anyone else in the room.
We had a short quiz about incidents in his life.
We had a few laughs and visited and ate cake.
Three cakes, mostly by Dawn, all delicious.

He is the best!
Love you, who.

Knots : fun or insanity

Emilee's 17th Birthday was June 18th.
She picked the theme park and Michael planned the trip.
At first he was going to get a motel, but then we decided it was cheaper to buy me a ticket and let me do the night driving.

You can see what effect this trip had on him. Killed him dead.
Not really, he's still only twelve and he kept right up with Emilee.
They rode all but one roller coaster.
I did let them talk me into a few of the calmer rides.
I just wanted to enjoy their fun and take pictures.

The xcellerator was the one they rode the most, four times.
Three of those in a row. I don't know how they didn't pass out.
They did look like they were having loads of fun.

The supreme scream was the ride of choice to close the day.
They tried to talk me into it but I still have vivid memories of the tower of terror.
This one seemed quite a bit taller and no building to block the view.
This one they rode twice.
I finally did get to drive 8-12, then Emilee had finished her nap and drove us the rest of the way home.
Home by 1:30
Church at 6:00 for Mike
10:00 for the rest of us.
AWESOME TRIP!!!
Glad I got to go.

Knots : fun or insanity

This was the last ride of the day.
Mike and Emilee tried to talk me into going.
No way!
It looks much higher than the tower of terror at California Adventure and I remember how I felt about that one.
All in all it was a great trip.
They finally let me drive about 8-12,
then Emilee woke up and drove us the rest of the way home.
Bed by 1:30
Church at 10:00
Not bad.
Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
